Hey gang, I just found out that my 2 year old granddaughter fell off the bed late last night and broke her elbow in the growth plate. They took her to the
hospital in the area but had to move her to a larger one. It took 3 pins to fix it. Makayla is a daddy's girl and her parents are split up, and her mom
isn't good with her when she is sick with a cold. Mom has her at this time and dad is a few hundred miles away and can't just drop in to see her, so
please keep this family in your prayers, each one of them is going to need them. Mom dealing with a grumpy baby, baby dealing with a grumpy mother and dad who
is a long ways away from his little girl.

Judy, your family is in my thoughts and prayers. When I was younger, I also broke my elbow in the growth plate and had pins placed in the elbow. I remember the
huge, heavy plaster cast I had for 6 weeks in order to protect the pins. I was older than your granddaughter and can remember how uncomfortable and miserable I
was. I can only imagine how she must feel. I wish her a speedy recovery!!

judy...oh no....wishes for speedy recovery.....maybe grandma needs to make a visit.....i hope she can get thru this...thats so hard at that age!

Thanks for the prayers and keep them coming. Talked to Makayla's mom she said that she does pretty good during the daytime, but has pretty rough nights,
she said that Makayla cry's out during sleep that it hurts. She will go back in 3 weeks to have 2 pins taken out, but will have to leave the other one
longer.
