I put stuf inside so they don't blow around in case of the worse... We need the rain here in VA, so that is a good thing about this, We aren't saturated so we shouldn't see trees down unless we get a tornado... Working on stuff... My sister had her twins a boy Colton and a girl Kamea (precious one in hawaiian)... she already had 2 boys... hehe... So all in all, I am working on some knitting and crochet work while I wait for the storm to go over us... Bren Michelle Myspace

Hopefully Hannah will go easy on the east coast. Don't know what to expect from Ike, though. I've been reading about people who evacuated from New Orleans to parts of Mississippi wanting to go home but afraid they will just have to turn around and evacuate again! Bless their hearts. My house made it through the storm with minimal damage, a few tress down. The tornados ripped through my town and caused the most damage. A lot of my family also live in the same small town and have unbelieveable amounts of damage. I thank God though that we are all safe and made it through. I'm thinking about anyone that is dealing with any of these storms, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Brandy

I live on the coast of VA, well about an hour outside of richmond, we had some wind and rain, but no tornadoes, thankfully... My youngest was afraid of the storm... only because he saw that 400 people died in haiti from a storm and in the bahamas... I had to explain the terrain differences and etc on why there are fewer casulties here than there... Now everyone waits to see what Ike wants to do...
