So much for quick reply. Okay, so then on Thursday I just hung out with my friend and watched 27 dresses which was cute. Then on Friday! Oh Lord! I got to the airport at 10:30 and Shannon found me. She changed her hair color and I walked right by her and looked and kept on going but she came up to me. We waited for Ang to get in at noon and of course it was a squeely loud reunion in the baggage claim area. We left and got stuck in horrible traffic so I got off the freeway and we ate Mexican food/drinks and then hit Target for some supplies to go with booze. We got to the hotel and settled in and tried not to pee our pants at just how funny we think we are. THEN Ang says "I wonder if Robby Gordons phone number is listed in the phone book?" Knowing full well it would not be but she called his race shop and that's when things got funny. She asked a question then hung up. THEN she makes me call and talk to them and if you do that, I am going to go all the way with it. The girl, Sarah, was REALLY super sweet and I found out Robby was doing a signing that evening at a liquor store in University City and you'd thought Ang was gonna die. She ran around getting herself all did up and we hit the road. An hour later, we found it and we walked in and she FROZE. There he stood with no line, just laughing and happy and surrounded by some hot guys that work for him. I had to push her off the cliff and she walked up all frozen and then I said, "Heh, you should think about giving Sarah a raise, she is really quite a great employee" Well, that broke the ice and Ang and Robby are getting married next spring some time. She has to get rid of Griffin and the kids first. They joked around for 20 min together and took pictures and she will have to tell the other stuff but good lord! We bought liquor, to go with our supplies. We drove back to the hotel and Crystal was there!!!!! We started drinking and had a ball! Sat we got up and went on another Robby quest and found the shop and Ang did the E in B&E cause the door was unlocked and then made me an accomplice....peer pressure. We went to the track and walked around and Shan was able to get her purchases done and I had on horrible shoes that made me look like an idiot, poor planning on my part but I looked cute ish. The track was crazy but fun and then we went back to the hotel. THat's when things got interesting for all of us. Ang got her crunk on! We went out by the pool and started drinking and met some wonderful people from Long Island and she was in bed by 9:30 pm. There is a lot in between but it is her story to tell and we should have taken pictures.....
Sunday we made Miss Party Animal 2008 get up at the ass crack of dawn and we went to the track and hung out all day. Needless to say, she did not hop right into drinking. She did feel much better when she stalked Robby at his hauler for his signing for about 1 hour. We went to the race, AWESOME!!!!!!!, saw a fight and two guys get kicked out in our section/row, sat out by the car for the traffic to get better, it didn't, drove home, crashed and I got up and left by 9 am on Monday to drive back home as I have a 7 hour drive. Ang's plane got delayed and she did not get home until after 10 pm so she had a really long day!
